MPS SOE Elite and Academy Tryouts will take place in June 2010. 

The MPS SOE program is a player development program that caters for motivated young players, boys and girls, aged 6-12 yrs old.  The tiered structure incorporates the JSOE, SOE Academy, and SOE Elite Programs.  For more information on the MPS SOE program and what separates MPS from other clubs please click here.

Tryout Logistics

Within one week of regsitering for the MPS SOE 2010/2011 Tryouts you will recieve a confirmation notice via e-mail from the School of Excellence Department.

Included on this message will be a waiver form attachment which must be filled in and brought along, completed in full, on the evening of the evaluation. It is imperative that you have this completed and signed in order to participate.

For planning purposes, you should look to arrive at the tryout site 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to complete the registration process. At this point you will hand in your completed waiver and be handed a number to be pinned to the players shorts.

Players are encouraged to wear white shirt, black shorts and black socks. Additionally, you should look to bring cleats/shin guards and water.

The tryout format will be a group warm up, followed by small sided games. If numbers dictate then MPS will also finish the evaluation by playing larger sided games.

By the end of the day the Monday following your tryout, all players will be notified of their status via e-mail. If for any reason you do not recieve this notification then please contact Chris Waugh (cwaugh@mpsbr.com) via e-mail or on 781-891-6900x34.
