Mass Premier Soccer is for players who wish to develop their soccer game in a positive, development orientated environment. The scope of MPS provides players the optimum opportunity to develop as athletes and as people.
- Full Time Professional Coaches
MPS has a full time body of staff of 50 nationally licensed coaches.
- Age appropriate curriculum
MPS seeks to provide players with the best education for soccer development and has produced age appropriate curriculum for all programs within the club.
MPS has a full-time Technical Department which is overseen Director of Coaching Peter Bradley who holds his USSF A license. The Technical Department are responsible for curriculum development and player education.
- Full Time Sports Performance Department
MPS has a full time sports performance department which focuses on injury
prevention, fitness testing and sports nutrition. Players are given ongoing feedback on these components which are pivotal in the modern game.
- Continuity of MPS Programs
MPS has a unique player development model which can cater for a players development from the age of 7 to 23 years. The Junior School of Excellence (U8) feeds into the School of Excellence Program (U9 - U12) which in turn feeds the Premier Team Program (U13 - U19) with the top layer of the club being the MPS U20 team and MPS Senior teams (U23).
- Commitment to Player Development
MPS provide the optimum environment for development by placing young players within the SOE program
in small sided, age appropriate games. This promotes touches on the ball in a structured environment. The MPS Premier Teams are placed in leagues with no promotion / relegation structure which, in turn, promotes a developmental environment as opposed to a winning at all costs mentality.
- Cooperation with local communities
MPS has fostered many terrific relationships with youth soccer groups across Eastern MA. MPS has aided with coach education, team training and player development officers in youth soccer organizations who strive to enhance the soccer experience of their own players.
MPS caters for all developing soccer players needs with the many different programs on offer. The full scope of the club includes day camps, residential camps, leagues and tournaments and assistance with the college process. These programs compliment the comprehensive club system at MPS.
