Waltham, 29th July 2010; MPS is pleased to announce the ’Last Month of Summer Sale’ will offer residential and recreational camps at 15% reduced rate to mark the final month of the summer season.
The sale will run from July 29th (10:00am) until August 30th (10:00am). All Camps are subject to the discount with the exception of College or High School residential camps.
“We are excited to be able to offer this discount to our community for the remainder of the 2010 summer camp season" said MPS Academy Director Lee Billiard. “We received tremendous feedback from the June and July camps and are we keen to finish the Summer camp season with a bang.”
MPS offer a unique camp experience for players of all ages. The 2010 MPS camp program includes a program for toddlers which provides a fun introduction to soccer, the MPS Smart Soccer program which focuses on learning through small-sided play, and the MPS Skill Seekers program which fosters development of technical skills and introduces tactical concepts.
MPS School of Excellence camps provide a rigorous training environment to improve level of play and the MPS Goalkeeper-specific sessions offer individual instruction on key tactical and technical skills for keepers.
MPS campers can choose to attend half-day (9am – 12pm) or full day (9am – 3pm) sessions during week-long programs.
This year, MPS is proud to introduce the MPS Idol competition to the camp program. All players who attend MPS camps are eligible to be selected as an MPS Soccer Idol. The chosen players will be featured on the MPS website and invited to participate in a final round competition. After this week-long session, one male and one female player from each age group will be named the ultimate MPS Soccer Idol. Winners will receive scholarships to the MPS School of Excellence Program and additional prizes from adidas and MPS partners.
