NHPSA Announce Partnership with NH Classics & Granite FC
Two leading clubs come together to create a Super Club

Waltham, 29th March, 2011; New Hampshire Premier Soccer Academy (NHPSA) has established a partnership with the New Hampshire Classics and Granite FC to launch a new club program for players throughout New Hampshire.

The partnership will create a new super club with over 40 teams competing as School of Excellence teams (U10-U12) and Premier Teams (U13-U19).

“We are delighted to associate the NHPSA brand with Granite FC and the NH Classics with the goal to provide a superior player development pathway for players in New Hampshire,” said NHPSA General Manager Mark McDevitt.  “I look forward to working with both groups in the launch of the new organization.”

NHPSA has established a new club infrastructure, with a full-time office providing administrative support in operations, curriculum development, sports performance, sales & marketing, player identification, finance, graphic design, communications and media/public relations.  Lenny Webb, formerly of Granite FC, will fulfill the role of NHPSA Premier Team Director while Deb McDonough, formerly of NH Classics, will fulfill the role of Premier Team Operations Director.

“We have competed against teams from NHPSA sister organizations in Massachusetts and Maine and have always been impressed by the quality of the teams and the professionalism of the coaching staff,” said NH Classics President Jay Joseph.  “The backroom support provided by NHPSA will help the new club become the most professional organization in the state.”

NHPSA will also provide a full-time coaching staff to complement the existing Granite FC and NH Classics staff led by NHPSA Director of Soccer Paul Baber.  The USSF ‘A’ License Coach will oversee player and coach education at the club.

“NHPSA will provide the optimal environment for players to develop as athletes and as people,” said Granite FC President John Edwards.  “We look forward to welcoming many new players to tryouts this summer as we seek to field the most competitive teams in the region during the 2011 / 2012 season.”

“We look forward to the partnership and the opportunity to enhance the youth soccer experience for players and coaches in New Hampshire,” said NHPSA Director of Soccer Paul Baber.  “We will look to attract players who seek to maximize their potential and compete at the highest levels of the game.”

NHPSA will hold tryouts for all age groups in June 2011 in preparation to take the field in 2011 / 2012.  All tryout details will be announced during the spring season.
