The inaugural MPS College Showcase was an exciting new venture being the only College level tournament in Massachusetts over Thanksgiving. The Inaugural tournament received interest from both local and regional teams and hosted over 55 elite teams.
Now ranked as the best tournament in Massachusetts - 2010 looks to entice some more elite level teams and brackets will be more competitive and limited!
A high turnout of college coaches was expected and the tournament confirmed over 60 Coaches in attendance in its first year. With the North East boasting over 80 colleges in MA alone many teams had the opportunity to showcase their talent to some of the top local colleges around with many college coaches opting to stay local during Thanksgiving.
In 2009 the MPS Thanksgiving Tournament:
• Became Gotsoccer Ranked as #1 Tournament in MA in its first year!
• Saw over 60 College Coaches in attendance
• Guarantees all teams a minimum of 3 games
• Plays 30 minutes halves (1 hour games)
• Scheduled all games on state of the art "Turf" fields so games went ahead rain or shine at Harvard University, Waltham and Lexington locations
• $800 per team (U15 - U19)
College Coaches & Recruiters
The invitational showcase is looking to attract top teams as well as many college coaches and recruiters each year. College coaches tend to register for attendance 2-3 weeks prior to the events. Our Memorial Day Showcase had a record number of college coaches’ -Over 120 and the MPS Thanksgiving College Showcase saw over 60 Coaches in attendance.
College Profiles
In order to receive maximum exposure for your team please complete and return the appropriate college profile form to the tournament manager by Oct 11th. Only the official tournament form will be accepted. Please complete the form and email to mwalker@mpsbr.com. Failure to meet the deadline may mean your team will not be entered into the college booklet.

Hotel Information
All hotels must be booked through our Tournament Hotel Sponsor, which guarantees you the best price at a luxurious location only minutes away from the fields. For more hotel information please follow the "Hotels" link on the side. Failure to book through the tournament hotel will result in your team not being accepted in the tournament.
