Memorial Day Weekend Success
Six
victories crown busy weekend for MPS
The
Memorial Day weekend began with a victory for the MPS Crusaders against
the Vermont Voltage
in the PDL and the success just kept on rolling for the club.
The weekend saw six tournament champions
crowned, five tournament finalists and also staged the first annual
MPS College Showcase Tournament.
Graham Munro topped off a great weekend after netting two goals in
Friday evenings PDL contest, he went on to lead the U13 MPS Crusaders
to US Club success winning the Premier Final after a tense Penalty
shootout.
Penalty kicks seemed
to be the common decider of finals this week with the U18 MPS Men,
U17 MPS Men and U14 MPS Bulldogs PD all coming out on top in a
shootout to win their tournament finals.
The U17 MPS Renegades
and U16 MPS Bulldogs completed the successful weekend with both
winning the MPS Needham College Showcase Finals.
