Ottawa 1-1 MPS Crusaders
All set up for huge home rematch

Ottawa, 5th July 2008;  The MPS Cape Cod Crusaders traveled across the boarder to play their Canadian rivals, looking to stay at the top of the table.  They returned from their journey to Ottawa with that very goal completed after a close 1-1 tie.  This now sets up a very important rematch this coming Saturday at Bowditch Stadium, Framingham which may decide the Division Title.

In the top of the table clash, the back of both nets stayed in tact for 70 minutes until the Fury's Martin Vickerton's slotted home to give Ottawa the deserved lead.

This was enough to kick the Crusaders into a response, which was given in the 77th minute when Edens Cherry delivered a great ball from a wide position for Liam Maloney to head home to tie up the game.  The crusaders held on to take the important point which keeps them above the Fury.

MPS Crusaders record 7-3-3 ....... Ottawa Fury record 5-3-2.

The Crusaders host the Fury in a 4:30pm kick off at the Bowditch Stadium, Framingham 12th July. For more information on individual and group ticket packages for the PDL contest please contact Graham Munro at 781 891 6900 ext 38 or gmunro@mpsbr.com
