In the fall of 2005, Mass Premier Soccer introduced an innovative Premier Development (PD) Program,

The PD program is designed for players who are not quite ready to step into the MPS Premier Team Program, but who have the drive and desire to experience the MPS standard of training and development.

The PD program allows players to graduate into the Premier Team Program if individual development warrants it.  PD coaches often work closely with Premier team coaches (as Premier Team Assistants Coaches) which allows constant communication to monitor player progress.

MPS field U13's through to U17's Premier Development Teams for boy’s and girl’s.  All PD teams play in competitive matches as well as practicing in a high level, professional and structured training environment.  PD teams follow an identical curriculum to Premier teams throughout the year.
