The MPS Technical Department is looking at ways to increase the coach, player and parent education in the effective use of sport psychology for 2012.

Ling Fung Wong is the current Director of Sports Psychology in MPS.  He is a BSc Sports Science with Management graduate of Loughborough University, and a certified NLP Coach and Practitioner.  His main responsibility is to provide sports psychological support to club members (coaches, players, parents and club clients), and educating the coaches to be competent sports psychologists

Jeff Zeizel is the Sports Psychology Consultant in MPS.  Jeff has been a Clinical Social Worker
for over 20 years, and has a Sports Counseling qualification from National Association of Sports Counselors.  He offers external support to MPS Sports Psychology programmes, such as Sports Psychology Consultation Service. 

MPS will be providing literature and off-field support that will be used in conjunction with MPS on-field training, to ensure that our players are performing at their peak throughout the season.   We have established age-appropriate player assessment wheels that highlight all the components a player needs to become successful.
