The School of Excellence (SOE) Academy Program provides an opportunity for players to train and play with other skilled and motivated individuals, in a professional and development focused environment. Acceptance into the SOE Academy is pending a successful tryout/evaluation. For more information on how to tryout for the SOE program, please click here.

MPS will be running its SOE Academy program out of 15 different locations for the  Fall 2011 season, with the addition of more sites expected during the year. To view the various SOE locations please click here.

The program will run for 3 seasons - Fall, Winter and Spring. It will run for 8 weeks each season. For the Fall/Spring seasons U9 and U10 teams will train once per week, U11 and U12 teams will practice twice per week. U10/U11/U12 teams will also play a 5-game schedule against other SOE Academy teams/Select External Teams, as well as competing in an end of season Jamboree.  U9 teams will play a 3-game schedule and participate in the Jamboree. Over the Winter, all teams will participate in a once per week technical practice, and not compete in any games. Players accepted into the SOE Academy are mandated to commit for the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 seasons. At this level of the program, participation in the Winter 2011 training season is recommended but not required.
