The focus of the SOE continues to be on the development of the player. With this in mind, MPS recently restructured its program to create an appropriate training environment for players of all abilities.
The SOE Elite program caters exclusively for players who have proven to consistently excel in the areas of skill, committment and attitude. The elite program represents the top of the SOE program, with acceptance reserved for individuals who display the exceptional talents required to compete at the highest level. Participation is by invitation only.
As with the SOE Academy, the SOE Elite will run for 3 seasons - Fall, Winter and Spring and each of the three seasons will run for 10 weeks each, training twice per week. SOE Elite teams will participate in an external league, the New England Premiership as well as within the regular SOE league.
At the SOE Elite level there will be U10, U11 and U12 teams. In the interests of player development, individuals selected for the Elite program are required to commit to all 3 seasons.
