MPS School of Excellence Tryouts

The MPS School of Excellence program is a player development program that caters for young players, boys and girls, aged 7-12 yrs old. SOE is geared towards dedicated and passionate players who are looking for advanced training with similarly talented players.

For the 2008/2009 season all locations will be holding an official tryout. Details of each site can be found below.

Attending Tryouts

When attending a Mass Premier Soccer School Of Excellence Tryout players should bring the following:

White shirt, blacks shorts and socks
Shin guards/cleats
Water
Medical waiver
Soccer ball

Regular season tryouts

If you would like to tryout for an SOE team during the season then you are more then welcome to. This will involve you coming along to a session and practicing with the team. The coach will evaluate the players performance during the session. The coach will then report back to you within 48 hours after the session, letting you know the players status. If you would like to tryout, outside of the tryout dates then please contact Gavin MacPhee on 781-891-6900x34.

Registration Process:

- All tryout details are available from: www.masspremiersoccer.com

- All players wishing to tryout for the SOE program must pre-register.

- All players will receive e-mail confirmation of their registration, which they must then print and bring to the tryouts.

- Players will bring with them a signed waiver to be eligible to tryout. This is available form the MPS website Medical waiver

Reporting System:

- All players will be informed of the outcome of their tryout within 48 hours of the event.

- They will be issued with a standard MPS acceptance or rejection letter which will be personalized with their name and sent to them individually via email. Should a player not have an email address, then MPS’ decision will be issued via a phone call.

- Players must accept their place in the SOE within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in their place being offered to another player. On acceptance, players will have one week to send in payment. This can be made by sending a check or calling MPS with credit card details.
